How we research and write our guides
Men's health is full of confident claims with nothing behind them. These are the rules every guide has to pass before it goes live.
Who writes the guides
Guides are written and maintained by the Muscle Velocity Research Team and published under the Muscle Velocity name. The team credit on each guide links here, so you can see the standard it was held to.
The standards
Sources first
Every guide starts from a pack of studies and official guidance. If a claim can't be traced to a source listed on the page, it comes out.
Educate, don't prescribe
We explain the physiology and the evidence. We don't diagnose, treat, or replace your doctor, and we say so on the pages where it matters most.
Dated and updated
Each guide shows when it was last updated, and that date comes from the page's real edit history, not a refreshed timestamp.
Spotted something wrong? Tell us through the About page and we'll check it against the sources.
